Matthew Tobias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Zoilo Santalla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Tobias in the 9th minute of play forced Baseia's goalkeeper Zoilo Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro De Pablo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorien Estrada having to interfere. Lucila Torres scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorien Estrada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Columbo Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Baseia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Roi Hidalgo hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, Estegos's Marino Fabelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zoilo Santalla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estegos reached it. Roi Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Zurica during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30thth minute of the game Lucila Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estegos's Lorien Estrada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Estegos got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Zurica. In the 33rd minute, Matthew Tobias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Columbo Correa struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Zoilo Santalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estegos. In the 36th minute, Oro Manrique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roi Hidalgo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baseia's protests and gave Roi Hidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Baseia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roi Hidalgo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbo Correa in the 41st minute of play forced Baseia's goalkeeper Zoilo Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aimar Urruti's late challenge caught a Estegos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimar Urruti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Aimar Urruti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucila Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zoilo Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Columbo Correa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Columbo Correa struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Zoilo Santalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estegos. After a rather tough play, Baseia's Aimar Urruti got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Marino Fabelo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zoilo Santalla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isidoro De Pablo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorien Estrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lucila Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baseia's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucila Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorien Estrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zoilo Santalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Columbo Correa in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Tobias in the 70th minute of play forced Baseia's goalkeeper Zoilo Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoilo Santalla came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estegos's Matthew Tobias. But to his dismay, Matthew Tobias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Estegos's Matthew Tobias got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro De Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Lorien Estrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Baseia's Isidoro De Pablo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorien Estrada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Estegos's Lorien Estrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucila Torres in the 85th minute of play. Matthew Tobias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoilo Santalla having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro De Pablo got free with Lorien Estrada in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Jusepe Urbina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isidoro De Pablo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucila Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lorien Estrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Baseia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
