Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pierres Alcaraz made the kick off which started today's match. Pierres Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hussein Olmedo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agamenón Mayol in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gorka Sampil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dani Duran charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dani Duran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Dani Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15thth minute of the game Pierres Alcaraz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontela's Gorka Sampil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Facundo Saavedra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Saavedra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Facundo Saavedra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Facundo Saavedra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Canutos's zone, Facundo Saavedra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Ramos came out of the goal and Facundo Saavedra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Canutos's Jairo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Canutos from getting a goal against them. Hussein Olmedo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jairo Ramos came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Fontela's Hechter Marin. But to his dismay, Hechter Marin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Facundo Saavedra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Facundo Saavedra to make the kick off. If Pierres Alcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hechter Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jairo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Canutos's Jairo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Saavedra in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Fontela's Hechter Marin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Hussein Olmedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Canutos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fontela the free kick. A collision led to FC Canutos getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hussein Olmedo hit a great ball. After 90 minutes FC Canutos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reynaldo Rey who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Reynaldo Rey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jairo Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Agamenón Mayol struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gorka Sampil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Canutos. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fontela fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Canutos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
