After 30 played minutes Fontela got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Saavedra. 37 minutes into the match, Straw Hat's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Saavedra came free, but Miguel Alarcon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Anier Nevada notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fontela's Gorka Sampil. Gorka Sampil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a long run with the ball, Dani Duran did a trick in the 42nd minute in front of Straw Hat's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-1. An impressive performance by Fontela's Dani Duran! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Straw Hat's Davide Bianchi got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fontela's zone, Anier Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gorka Sampil came out of the goal and Anier Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hechter Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Alarcon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dani Duran, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Miguel Alarcon made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Humberto Bartumeu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Duran in the 73rd minute of play forced Straw Hat's goalkeeper Miguel Alarcon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Nevada in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gorka Sampil saved Fontela from getting behind. The supporters of Fontela booed when Straw Hat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Bianchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facundo Saavedra got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Anier Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94thth minute of the game Anier Nevada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontela's Gorka Sampil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hechter Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Alarcon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fontela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Straw Hat.
