After a rather tough play, Cercedilla's Nacho Blazquez got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Pedriza got free with Gilberto Puyol in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Puyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allande Zafrilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Fonticoba hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sarai FC's Gilberto Puyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Serena in the 78th minute of play. Andrea Cazorla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mauro Colsa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Fero Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fero Mata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Cercedilla's goalkeeper Mauro Colsa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Cazorla. 94 minutes into the match, Sarai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pedriza came free, but Gilberto Puyol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarai FC's Fero Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sarai FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
