In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Jarilla AFC's goalkeeper Leroy Galnares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Etxatxu Alarcon's late challenge caught a Nueva Jarilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etxatxu Alarcon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Setla getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Etxatxu Alarcon hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Nueva Jarilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aita Tarin. 16 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Vuelta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nueva Jarilla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Setla the free kick. Alejo Dagora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leroy Galnares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etxatxu Alarcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leroy Galnares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Dagora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Nueva Jarilla AFC defense, Celino Caballero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leroy Galnares. The Nueva Jarilla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leroy Galnares should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Setla's goal looked a bit too open when Serafín Idiaquez came free, but Joel Casado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celino Caballero got free with Leroy Galnares in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesús Gabas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leroy Galnares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Dagora in the 48th minute of play forced Nueva Jarilla AFC's goalkeeper Leroy Galnares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Celino Caballero came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Setla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celino Caballero couldn't finish the play. If Serafín Idiaquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Marcelo Sainz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Casado, 2-1. Joel Casado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Sainz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 64 minute of play. Leroy Galnares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Dagora went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Alejo Dagora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes, Jesús Gabas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Setla and the Nueva Jarilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Jesús Gabas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toni Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toni Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Setla! Marcelo Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesús Gabas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Celino Caballero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Nueva Jarilla AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Setla from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
