Gonza Pascual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dubardo Aguilo in the 22nd minute of play. Gonza Pascual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dubardo Aguilo in the 23rd minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Gaioso UD got a freekick which was hit by Joan Fuentes. Adalberto Sarrate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonza Pascual. Gaioso UD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gaioso UD's Firmo Alcaraz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Gaioso UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aiert Roman to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dubardo Aguilo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santa Cruz De Los Cañamos FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Policarpio Rienda hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Ximo Aznar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Cruz De Los Cañamos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaioso UD the free kick. After 57 played minutes Santa Cruz De Los Cañamos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ximo Aznar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Policarpio Rienda during the 59th minute. He walked away shaking his head. If Mendebal Guasch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panait Gheondea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Gonza Pascual made a huge save. Roberto Lewandowski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mariano Cao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaioso UD. Gonza Pascual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dubardo Aguilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Santa Cruz De Los Cañamos FC got a freekick which was hit by Akram Rajab. In the 96th minute, Leal Villanueva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Gaioso UD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
