Bruno Benito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergori Menendez having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Sangonera Cantonal's Telmo Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mino Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Casas Del Rio CF's Mino Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Guerrero in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Bruno Benito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gergori Menendez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diagur Calatayud hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bruno Benito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gergori Menendez made a huge save. A collision led to Casas Del Rio CF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Enetz Rosario hit a great ball. Bruno Benito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nicodemo Villafane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casas Del Rio CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodemo Villafane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gergori Menendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Nicodemo Villafane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casas Del Rio CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodemo Villafane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Benito couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicodemo Villafane was the one to do the kick off. Nicodemo Villafane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Nicodemo Villafane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergori Menendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Nicodemo Villafane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Benito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gergori Menendez having to make a save. Gergori Menendez came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Casas Del Rio CF's Nicodemo Villafane. But to his dismay, Nicodemo Villafane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gergori Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Villafane in the 74th minute of play. Casas Del Rio CF's Mino Ramirez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Casas Del Rio CF from getting a goal against them. After 80 minutes, Telmo Guerrero made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Casas Del Rio CF's Mino Ramirez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sangonera Cantonal's zone, Bruno Benito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gergori Menendez came out of the goal and Bruno Benito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gergori Menendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodemo Villafane, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Telmo Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mino Ramirez having to interfere. Casas Del Rio CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
