In the 2nd minute, Sagrario Montaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muno Jurado charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muno Jurado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Lesende got a freekick which was hit by Muno Jurado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germán Cardeñosa in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quinton Mondejar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lesende! When El Palmeral SD's Germán Cardeñosa in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lesende's goalie prevented a goal. Quilino Vega made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Xurdin Alabern sent off a good shot on target. El Palmeral SD's Quilino Vega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurdin Alabern in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Palmeral SD's zone, Gaizko Palomar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quilino Vega came out of the goal and Gaizko Palomar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germán Cardeñosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Quinton Mondejar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaizko Palomar struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Quilino Vega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lesende. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurdin Alabern in the 40th minute of play forced El Palmeral SD's goalkeeper Quilino Vega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xurdin Alabern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilino Vega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurdin Alabern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Palmeral SD's Germán Cardeñosa got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xurdin Alabern was the one to do the kick off. El Palmeral SD's Quilino Vega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurdin Alabern in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when El Palmeral SD's Imanol Lacorte fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Quinton Mondejar made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Germán Cardeñosa sent off a good shot on target. Xurdin Alabern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quilino Vega having to interfere. Quilino Vega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurdin Alabern in the 61st minute of play. Quilino Vega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurdin Alabern, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaizko Palomar in the 67th minute of play forced El Palmeral SD's goalkeeper Quilino Vega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Palmeral SD's Quilino Vega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizko Palomar in the 70th minute of play. When Aparicio Sánchez fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Palmeral SD's protests and gave Aparicio Sánchez a yellow card for diving instead. Aparicio Sánchez hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gaizko Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesende's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaizko Palomar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quilino Vega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Quinton Mondejar managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when El Palmeral SD's Germán Cardeñosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Quilino Vega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurdin Alabern in the 81st minute of the match. Quilino Vega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizko Palomar in the 85th minute of play. If Imanol Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lesende had won after a very even match.
