Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Menendez started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Xurdin Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lesende's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xurdin Alabern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Currito Dean's late challenge caught a Lesende's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Currito Dean helped the player get up and apologised. Currito Dean hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Lesende were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Carrizal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atauri Bueno took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Dario Armada heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Lesende's Quintin Marin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Altzibar Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lesende's zone, Altzibar Paz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinton Mondejar came out of the goal and Altzibar Paz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lesende's Quinton Mondejar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altzibar Paz in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Altzibar Paz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Menendez in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ametz Talavera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Carrizal defense, Jonathan Menendez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ametz Talavera. The Carrizal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ametz Talavera should have stopped the shot. Lesende's Xurdin Alabern got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ametz Talavera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Menendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Xurdin Alabern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Menendez in the 36th minute of play forced Carrizal's goalkeeper Ametz Talavera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Xurdin Alabern had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ametz Talavera. Carrizal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xurdin Alabern was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Baldomero Zabalo took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ametz Talavera. Ametz Talavera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
Quinton Mondejar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bladi Navas in the 55th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Xurdin Alabern had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ametz Talavera. Carrizal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xurdin Alabern was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Jonathan Menendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ametz Talavera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lesende booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bladi Navas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Xurdin Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesende's supporters rose to their feet, but Xurdin Alabern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ametz Talavera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Jonathan Menendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ametz Talavera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lesende's Xurdin Alabern got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xurdin Alabern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ametz Talavera having to interfere. Xurdin Alabern was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lesende's Baldomero Zabalo suffered a sore knee after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Currito Dean got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th match minute, Carrizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Currito Dean to maneuver through the defense. Lesende's Xurdin Alabern got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Lesende got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Menendez. If Xurdin Alabern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Carrizal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lesende were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
