Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anter Carrasco got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Alcaucin booed when Santa Cruz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anter Carrasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Germán Talavera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cloyo Perpiñán was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Cloyo Perpiñán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germán Talavera's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Germán Talavera came free, but Cloyo Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Ursino Cameno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcaucin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Cruz the free kick. In the 24th minute, Alejo Montaña made a precise shot to the right of Fran Cainzos. Alcaucin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Montaña got free with Fran Cainzos in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Germán Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcaucin's supporters rose to their feet, but Germán Talavera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cloyo Perpiñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germán Talavera in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cloyo Perpiñán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Germán Talavera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cloyo Perpiñán was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Maverick Rocafort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Perpiñán having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Cloyo Perpiñán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Germán Talavera made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alejo Montaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fran Cainzos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anter Carrasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fran Cainzos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Montaña in the 54th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Nacho Echeto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Cruz and the Alcaucin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nacho Echeto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Anter Carrasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anter Carrasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fran Cainzos having to interfere. Alejo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germán Talavera struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cloyo Perpiñán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcaucin. If Germán Talavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pabon charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Pabon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 77 minutes, Germán Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcaucin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germán Talavera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germán Talavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cloyo Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maverick Rocafort recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Pabon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cloyo Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Maverick Rocafort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cloyo Perpiñán didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Cloyo Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Santa Cruz succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alcaucin had controlled the match.
