Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) arenas vegaaa's Castel Rallo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sixto Andres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castel Rallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Palanques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When Felix Valines fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored arenas vegaaa's protests and gave Felix Valines a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Valines kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Eladio Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, arenas vegaaa's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Andres came free, but Eladio Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sinforoso Bergada struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Eladio Marcos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.D. Abanilla. In the 20th minute Sinforoso Bergada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eladio Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Andres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eladio Marcos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sinforoso Bergada came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the U.D. Abanilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sinforoso Bergada couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in U.D. Abanilla's zone, Felix Valines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Palanques came out of the goal and Felix Valines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes of play arenas vegaaa's Felix Valines was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of U.D. Abanilla booed when arenas vegaaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Valines didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, arenas vegaaa's Zumar Mayor got a free kick in the 34th minute. Geleberto Arias, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sixto Andres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, arenas vegaaa's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Andres came free, but Eladio Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Andres took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eladio Marcos. Eladio Marcos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The arenas vegaaa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U.D. Abanilla were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Sinforoso Bergada made the kick off in the second half. When Belmiro Pantoja fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.D. Abanilla's protests and gave Belmiro Pantoja a yellow card for diving instead. Sinforoso Bergada might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eladio Marcos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sinforoso Bergada ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurre Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eladio Marcos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Andres in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sinforoso Bergada got free with Eladio Marcos in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Andres scored 0-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eladio Marcos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of arenas vegaaa booed when U.D. Abanilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manel Barro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurre Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Aurre Correa made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Palanques. U.D. Abanilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Castel Rallo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Sixto Andres notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of arenas vegaaa's Eladio Marcos. Eladio Marcos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sinforoso Bergada in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eladio Marcos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U.D. Abanilla eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
