Archibaldo Tobias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes, José Patiño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benizar SD and the Vallvidrera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Patiño hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Benizar SD's Huly Litago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Benizar SD from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archibaldo Tobias in the 14th minute of play forced Benizar SD's goalkeeper Huly Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Urruti struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Huly Litago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallvidrera AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archibaldo Tobias in the 17th minute of play forced Benizar SD's goalkeeper Huly Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Benizar SD's Huly Litago got control of the ball when Horacio Urruti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vallvidrera AFC's Viviano Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antolin Pastor in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Vallvidrera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgio Figueres to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vallvidrera AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cresconio Bencoiechea hit a great ball. When Asensio Irureta fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vallvidrera AFC's protests and gave Asensio Irureta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vallvidrera AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Asensio Irureta hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Benizar SD's Gilabert Redondo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 36th minute, Horacio Urruti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archibaldo Tobias in the 40th minute of play forced Benizar SD's goalkeeper Huly Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Urruti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huly Litago having to interfere. Horacio Urrutis short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Huly Litago to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Archibaldo Tobias was the one to do the kick off. Horacio Urruti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Antolin Pastor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benizar SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Antolin Pastor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viviano Bernal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huly Litago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Archibaldo Tobias's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Columbo Huguet hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Benizar SD's goal looked a bit too open when Archibaldo Tobias came free, but Huly Litago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 86 minutes on the clock, Luis Campos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Benizar SD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Vallvidrera AFC. Giorgio Figueres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Huly Litago. 2-0. Benizar SD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
