After a rather tough play, Odon's Xilo Vuelta got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Lucila Vuelta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cantoblanco's Baldemer Rubio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Zabalo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Petri Madariaga sent off a good shot on target. Baldemer Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucila Vuelta in the 11th minute of play. Lucila Vuelta struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Baldemer Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odon. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cantoblanco's goalkeeper Baldemer Rubio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Severino Elias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Zabalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petri Madariagas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Eliseo Zabalo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cantoblanco's Petri Madariaga got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Falo Reina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cantoblanco's Baldemer Rubio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucila Vuelta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldemer Rubio having to make a save. Eliseo Zabalo was a little too slow when Severino Elias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucila Vuelta in the 44th minute of play forced Cantoblanco's goalkeeper Baldemer Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falo Reina to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lucila Vuelta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Petri Madariaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantoblanco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petri Madariaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llorienzo Garzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldemer Rubio made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Lucila Vuelta sent off a good shot on target.
