Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anko Gil started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ermua's goalkeeper Lino Encina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pancho Aceves. In the 6th match minute, Ermua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeruko Fabelo to maneuver through the defense. Lino Encina was a little too slow when Indar Elguero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ermua's Fredo Mudarra got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Anko Gil sped through El Rubial FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Darien Montes. In the 15th match minute, El Rubial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodemo Pedriza to maneuver through the defense. When Fredo Mudarra fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ermua's protests and gave Fredo Mudarra a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ermua's zone, Fix Fuente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Encina came out of the goal and Fix Fuente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darien Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anko Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, El Rubial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Ucero came free, but Darien Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indar Elguero in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Encina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Anko Gil sped through El Rubial FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Darien Montes. Lino Encina made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Pancho Aceves sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, one of Ermua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave El Rubial FC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joan Castaño, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ermua's Lino Encina. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Indar Elguero to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes El Rubial FC got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Aceves. In the 53rd match minute, Ermua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Obis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Fix Fuente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Rubial FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fix Fuente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anko Gils short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Darien Montes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Aceves in the 62nd minute of play forced Ermua's goalkeeper Lino Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Ermua's goal looked a bit too open when Pancho Aceves came free, but Lino Encina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ermua's Anko Gil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darien Montes. That made the score 2-3 after 71 minutes of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Anko Gil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Darien Montes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lino Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indar Elguero in the 82nd minute of the match. If Indar Elguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Eloy Bartumeu had to leave the field with a concussion. After 86 minutes, Rafa Ucero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ermua and the El Rubial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Rafa Ucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredo Mudarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El Rubial FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ermua's performance. The match ended with a win for Ermua.
