Balaguer AFC's Salvador Climent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malvin Nieto in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macario Palencia in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermenegildo Dominguez saved Jerez93 from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Octavio Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jerez93's zone, Macario Palencia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermenegildo Dominguez came out of the goal and Macario Palencia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Jerez93 got a freekick which was hit by Bitxintxo Incera. After 23 minutes of play, Balaguer AFC's Bardo Laredo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermenegildo Dominguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Malvin Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Macario Palencia sped through Jerez93's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermenegildo Dominguez. In the 49th match minute, Balaguer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Salan to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Malvin Nieto got free with Salvador Climent in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donatello Carceles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
