The audience was convinced that Marquez Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Climent was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Salvador Climent successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Balaguer AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arias Barbosa hit a great ball. With a little luck, Balaguer AFC's Salvador Climent got control of the ball when Zuriko Cartagena tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marquez Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Balaguer AFC's Bardo Laredo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Climent came out of the goal and Marquez Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
