If Agusti Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabino Bellido scored 4-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rexino Roig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rexino Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otero Vacas in the 93rd minute of the match. Rexino Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agusti Nieto in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Sporting Betis were the better team. Sporting Betis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
