If Gilberto Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobiasr Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximen Baños having to interfere. Gilberto Santos struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Rexino Roig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelldefels. When Xicu Serena came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sabarneda SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xicu Serena couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sabarneda SD's zone, Migúel Sainz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rexino Roig came out of the goal and Migúel Sainz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gilberto Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelldefels's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rexino Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Castelldefels's Migúel Sainz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabarneda SD's goalkeeper Rexino Roig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Migúel Sainz to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sabarneda SD got a freekick which was hit by Quico Solana. Gilberto Santoss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Rexino Roig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carlitos Labarra hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Migúel Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes in the game, Gilberto Santos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gilberto Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rexino Roig having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xicu Serena in the 71st minute of play forced Castelldefels's goalkeeper Ximen Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rexino Roig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Santos in the 72nd minute. Gilberto Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rexino Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rexino Roig made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gilberto Santos sent off a good shot on target. Gilberto Santos struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ximen Baños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xicu Serena, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Migúel Sainz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xicu Serena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ximen Baños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Sabarneda SD's Xicu Serena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ximen Baños narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Migúel Sainz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
