Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Ziguenza kicked off to start the match. Sabarneda SD's Rexino Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ziguenza in the 7th minute of play. Luis Ziguenza's late challenge caught a Sabarneda SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Ziguenza helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ziguenza. In the 12th minute of the match, Porfirio Montaña tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rexino Roig saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Luis Ziguenza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Luis Ziguenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chayo Canosa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Rexino Roig 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Montserrat's zone, Tobiasr Campomanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Etxeberria came out of the goal and Tobiasr Campomanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chayo Canosas short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Rexino Roig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Palacios during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sabarneda SD! The referee gave Montserrat a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ugaitz Murcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sabarneda SD's Rexino Roig. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xicu Serena to strike the kick off in the second half. Xicu Serena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game Xicu Serena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montserrat's Julio Etxeberria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ugaitz Murcia lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Montserrat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sabarneda SD:s goal. Julio Etxeberria had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Victorino Segura's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Julio Etxeberria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xicu Serena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobiasr Campomanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Etxeberria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Montserrat's Julio Etxeberria got control of the ball when Tobiasr Campomanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobiasr Campomanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chayo Canosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xicu Serena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xicu Serena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Etxeberria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Porfirio Montaña kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sabarneda SD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victorino Segura in the 90th minute. Tobiasr Campomanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Julio Etxeberria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montserrat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sabarneda SD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
