An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmo Huerta in the 4th minute of play forced Borrissola's goalkeeper Amuruza Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, El Cabo De Gata AD's Pedro Figueres got control of the ball when Cedro Roig tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemencin Urbieta during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Borrissola booed when El Cabo De Gata AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemencin Urbieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When El Cabo De Gata AD's Duardo Infante in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Duardo Infante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amuruza Bermejo having to interfere. Duardo Infante struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Amuruza Bermejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cabo De Gata AD. Firmo Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Figueres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Figueroa. In the 38th minute, Duardo Infante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Cabo De Gata AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Figueres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tabb Prats showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Firmo Huerta to make the kick off. Cedro Roig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Cedro Roig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Cabo De Gata AD's Pedro Figueres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes, Cipriano Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Cabo De Gata AD and the Borrissola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute of the match Alifonso Jareño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Figueres skillfully saved the ball. If Firmo Huerta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amuruza Bermejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemencin Urbieta in the 73rd minute of play. Evelio Puig's late challenge caught a El Cabo De Gata AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Puig helped the player get up and apologised. Firmo Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amuruza Bermejo having to interfere. Pedro Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tabb Prats in the 91st minute of play. The Borrissola support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
