Xiao Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jago Gonzalez having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Anter Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melkor Valdés in the 52nd minute of the match. Anter Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Raya in the 55th minute of play. Jago Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isandro Torrente in the 60th minute. Clash Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
