52 minutes into the match, Paiporta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pere De Pedro came free, but Justino Doblas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Heriberto Comas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC 2L and the Paiporta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, FC 2L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heriberto Comas to maneuver through the defense. If Reinaldo Camara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Camara struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hechter Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paiporta AFC. FC 2L's Hechter Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilbo Ledo in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, FC 2L's Lino Helguera made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Doblas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute of the match David Perez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hechter Romero skillfully saved the ball. Lino Helguera scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Doblas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC 2L fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paiporta AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
