Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bermudo Cabrera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Bermudo Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the CD Barrionuevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bermudo Cabrera couldn't finish the play. After having played for 6 minutes, Epicuro Mala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.PALONTARRO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epicuro Mala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bermudo Cabrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Orozco having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Bermudo Cabrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Argenis Martínez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Barrionuevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C.PALONTARRO the free kick. A collision led to CD Barrionuevo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Argenis Martínez hit a great ball. Felipo Higuera charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipo Higuera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes CD Barrionuevo got a freekick which was hit by Felipo Higuera. After a rather tough play, F.C.PALONTARRO's Fredo Casanova got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, CD Barrionuevo's goal looked a bit too open when Epicuro Mala came free, but Loramendi Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CD Barrionuevo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Argenis Martínez hit a great ball. Loramendi Abajas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epicuro Mala went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fredo Casanova was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to F.C.PALONTARRO getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fredo Casanova hit a great ball. Felipo Higuera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bermudo Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Quinton Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epicuro Mala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epicuro Mala made a kick off. Epicuro Mala kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. F.C.PALONTARRO's Quinton Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bermudo Cabrera in the 55th minute of play. The throw-in from Haritz Rienda in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CD Barrionuevo's Paulin Aranzubia. Quinton Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bermudo Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Epicuro Mala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loramendi Abajas having to interfere. With an all-out effort, F.C.PALONTARRO's Loramendi Abajas threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Epicuro Mala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute Bermudo Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinton Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Pabon hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.PALONTARRO's zone, Bermudo Cabrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinton Orozco came out of the goal and Bermudo Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bermudo Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Felipo Higuera managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Barrionuevo's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipo Higuera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinton Orozco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipo Higuera struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Quinton Orozco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Barrionuevo. Felipo Higuera might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinton Orozco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipo Higuera ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle went the supporters of F.C.PALONTARRO were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant CD Barrionuevo side.
