After a defensive mix-up in Sant Roc's zone, Isidro Jareño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Murcia came out of the goal and Isidro Jareño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Teofilo Carmona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astures's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Carmona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 5 played minutes Sant Roc got a freekick which was hit by Fresco Esperta. Cordarin Pantoja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Dino Cuevas made a huge save. In the 16th minute Teofilo Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Murcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Carmona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Murcia was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Teofilo Carmona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Murcia. Sant Roc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Carmona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute César Villalcazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Astures booed when Sant Roc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lleir Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teofilo Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Carmona scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Murcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sant Roc's Ruy Murcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Carmona in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Sant Roc booed when Astures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekaitz Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Carmona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ruy Murcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Egun Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when César Villalcazar made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Sant Roc's goalkeeper Ruy Murcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Carmona. 61 minutes into the game, Fresco Esperta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sant Roc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astures the free kick. Fresco Esperta kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Astures's Quirze Navarro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Cordarin Pantoja notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Astures's Dino Cuevas. Dino Cuevas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Astures's goal looked a bit too open when César Villalcazar came free, but Dino Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Teofilo Carmona could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-3 into the left cross. César Villalcazar scored 2-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Cuevas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Carmona in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 95 minutes into the match, Sant Roc's goalkeeper Ruy Murcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Carmona. Astures played a much better game than Sant Roc and deserved their victory. The Sant Roc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
