Xilo Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuste Gil in the 48th minute of play forced Portus's goalkeeper Xilo Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuste Gil was the one to do the kick off. Portus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Macario Rosas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute of the match, Macario Rosas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dacio Verdeja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Xilo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergi Vagrande in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Estefan Silvestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Portus players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
