Sinforiano Losantos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Palau CD getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marino Viejo hit a great ball. Gaztea Macia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Lillo having to interfere. Gaztea Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Franco Lillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Raymond Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Palau CD's Raymond Jurado got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 12 played minutes, Dakar United FC's Vitor Verdu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franco Lillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dakar United FC reached it. Dakar United FC's Gaztea Macia got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gaztea Macia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Lillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaztea Macia in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sinforiano Losantos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Lillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaztea Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Franco Lillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Lillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sinforiano Losantos's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Anton Maldonado might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chan Fresnos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Maldonado ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the game, Dakar United FC's Sinforiano Losantos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Lillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Palau CD getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Raymond Jurado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaztea Macia in the 44th minute of play forced Palau CD's goalkeeper Franco Lillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes, Cordarin Jimenez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palau CD and the Dakar United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Palau CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarin Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Palau CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarin Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. When Dakar United FC's Sinforiano Losantos in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palau CD's goalie prevented a goal. If Gaztea Macia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Sinforiano Losantos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Lillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Víctor Pastor hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Chan Fresnos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perrando Gene, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Jurado during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palau CD getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Raymond Jurado hit a great ball. Gaztea Macia in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franco Lillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dakar United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
