When Esteve Bodelon came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the La Dehesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Bodelon couldn't finish the play. After 9 minutes, Dante Sampil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erice AFC and the La Dehesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Dehesa booed when Erice AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Sampil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Bodelon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santxo Duarte got free with Altzibar Reyes in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Bodelon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emeterio Contreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Orlando Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emeterio Contreras, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Erice AFC booed when La Dehesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilen Morcego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Santxo Duarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Altzibar Reyes however easily saved by the left post. Esteve Bodelon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st match minute, Erice AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venceslás Palomares to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Esteve Bodelon made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Gómez. Erice AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xicu Arraz to make the kick off. Esteve Bodelon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Orlando Gómez firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute, Saul Lacorte had to leave the field with a concussion. La Dehesa made a substitution. Joan Higuera replaced Saul Lacorte. Ignacio Rey hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emeterio Contreras in the 79th minute of play forced Erice AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Bodelon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Orlando Gómez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteve Bodelon took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Gómez. Orlando Gómez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. La Dehesa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
