After 5 played minutes, Villores's Francis Feria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urbasa Cainzos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villores reached it. Etxeberri Sarrate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, one of Villores:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villores. Emenon Merino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazcano Galnares having to interfere. Lazcano Galnares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etxeberri Sarrate, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Urbasa Cainzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergi Quesada, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Emenon Merino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emenon Merino kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 25thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Villores's keeper Lazcano Galnares was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Emenon Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lazcano Galnares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Santa Cruz's Emenon Merino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lazcano Galnares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 minutes of play, Villores's Sergi Quesada made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbasa Cainzos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergi Quesada made a kick off. Omar Antunez hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Villores's Felip Leon tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emenon Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lazcano Galnares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazcano Galnares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etxeberri Sarrate in the 60th minute of play. Paulin Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emenon Merino in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazcano Galnares saved Villores from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Santa Cruz's Emenon Merino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lazcano Galnares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Emenon Merino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazcano Galnares having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Emenon Merino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a rather tough play, Villores's Montez Vega got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Emenon Merino came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Santa Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emenon Merino couldn't finish the play. Lazcano Galnares came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Cruz's Emenon Merino. But to his dismay, Emenon Merino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.
