The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristos Cainzos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musko Huerta in the 8th minute of the match. Granada's Cristos Cainzos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Idiaquez in the 12th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Musko Huerta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rosario Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Dominguez hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Musko Huerta to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosario Diaz scored 1-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Millán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Tarin during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Granada fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Simes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
