The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvino Barroso in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maule Pujol saved U.D.Castellar-Oliveral from getting behind. U.D.Castellar-Oliveral's Maule Pujol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save U.D.Castellar-Oliveral from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaden Sacristán in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andresito De Toro saved Pinzon AD from getting behind. In the 11th minute Vaden Sacristán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andresito De Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Pinzon AD's goal looked a bit too open when Machado Salazar came free, but Andresito De Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Calvino Barroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maule Pujol was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Pinzon AD's Calvino Barroso got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Pinzon AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Soto to maneuver through the defense. Goyo Odín, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Maule Pujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Barroso in the 27th minute of the match. Maule Pujol made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Rodolfo Bartumeu sent off a good shot on target. Andresito De Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Salazar in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaden Sacristán in the 34th minute of play forced Pinzon AD's goalkeeper Andresito De Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Machado Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andresito De Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pinzon AD's Vladimiro Verdeja got a free kick in the 40th minute. Andresito De Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Salazar in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calvino Barroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Calvino Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Bartumeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maule Pujol having to interfere. Calvino Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to U.D.Castellar-Oliveral getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Goyo Odín hit a great ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Calvino Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U.D.Castellar-Oliveral's Maule Pujol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calvino Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Rodolfo Bartumeu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maule Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Machado Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Andresito De Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Machado Salazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.D.Castellar-Oliveral fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rodolfo Bartumeu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maule Pujol. Maule Pujol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. U.D.Castellar-Oliveral's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
