Cerezo's Crispo Pastor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergi Macho in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Jongar Fc booed when Cerezo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Sergi Macho made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Benvide Camino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Puyol. Benvide Camino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Benvide Camino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 60 played minutes Jongar Fc got a freekick which was hit by Andoni Jaraba. With a little luck, Jongar Fc's Luis Puyol got control of the ball when Peli Alcantara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Puyol made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Peli Alcantara sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Unzueta's late challenge caught a Jongar Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Unzueta helped the player get up and apologised. Zacarías Montero walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
