Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Llíber's Edelmiro Rua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Llíber booed when Patrite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tebaldo Zubizarreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Rua in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Arraz saved Patrite from getting behind. Reinaldo Arraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tello Colillas in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Eulalio Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patrite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Peña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tebaldo Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Rua in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Arraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llíber's goalkeeper Simon Vicente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reinaldo Arraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tello Colillas in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Patrite's zone, Tello Colillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Arraz came out of the goal and Tello Colillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Peña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Vicente having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tebaldo Zubizarreta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Simon Vicente to make any attempt to save it. Reinaldo Arraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tello Colillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Francisco Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llíber's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Gimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Arraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patrite's goalkeeper Reinaldo Arraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Llíber's Tello Colillas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Arraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Peña got free with Simon Vicente in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tello Colillas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Reinaldo Arraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llíber.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tebaldo Zubizarreta made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Patrite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nabar Saez to maneuver through the defense. If Edelmiro Rua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Edelmiro Rua reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reinaldo Arraz. The goal made the score 1-2. If Tello Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Peña scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Vicente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Llíber's Tello Colillas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Arraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A collision led to Llíber getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Monte Bartumeu hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Tello Colillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Llíber supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Llíber would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
