The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taurino Delgado during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Castaño in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diagur Belalcaraz saved Gatomorto from getting behind. After 30 minutes Gatomorto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thiago Cazorla who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on real oviedo S.A.S's corner Luar Campos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diagur Belalcaraz quite easily take care of the ball. Diagur Belalcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fero Salgado in the 40th minute of play. Agustín Barroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Alacuart having to interfere. Ubaldo Alacuart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gallo Amorebieta in the 44th minute of play. Diagur Belalcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Alcantara in the 45th minute of play. Ubaldo Alacuart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gallo Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Idacio Alcantara to strike the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Alacuart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Barroso in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Idacio Alcantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diagur Belalcaraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gallo Amorebieta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gatomorto's Diagur Belalcaraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Gatomorto from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Monte Solera from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Diagur Belalcaraz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Agustín Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Gallo Amorebieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gatomorto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gallo Amorebieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Gallo Amorebieta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Alacuart. real oviedo S.A.S's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gallo Amorebieta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Agustín Barroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Alacuart was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
