Mitxel Correa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Galnares might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mitxel Correa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Galnares ran back to his position shaking his head. c.d eldense's Mitxel Correa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Ferrer in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Cardona AFC's Ignacio Galnares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mitxel Correa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, c.d eldense's goalkeeper Mitxel Correa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Galnares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrico Ferrer in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitxel Correa saved c.d eldense from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nisio Sobera to strike the kick off in the second half. Neto Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neto Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enrico Ferrer scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mitxel Correa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Cardona AFC booed when c.d eldense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Ziguenza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes, Cardona AFC's Beltxe Prieto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mitxel Correa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cardona AFC reached it. c.d eldense's Mitxel Correa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Galnares in the 81st minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardona AFC's goalkeeper Estefan Olmos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cardona AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
