Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hegoi Aizpurua started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazario Zaplana in the 8th minute of play forced FAITH NO MORE's goalkeeper Nono Darroja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, FAITH NO MORE's Gabi Galego sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Indalecio Canal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nazario Zaplana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canyet De Mar AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazario Zaplana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nono Darroja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nono Darroja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asdrubal Pascua, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Canyet De Mar AD booed when FAITH NO MORE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Sevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nazario Zaplana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FAITH NO MORE's Nono Darroja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazario Zaplana in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FAITH NO MORE's goal looked a bit too open when Asdrubal Pascua came free, but Nono Darroja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabi Galego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Nazario Zaplana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nono Darroja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute Asdrubal Pascua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Darroja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asdrubal Pascua to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gabi Galego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FAITH NO MORE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabi Galego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FAITH NO MORE's Nono Darroja got control of the ball when Nazario Zaplana tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asdrubal Pascua in the 55th minute of play forced FAITH NO MORE's goalkeeper Nono Darroja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Blas Sevilla fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FAITH NO MORE's protests and gave Blas Sevilla a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes FAITH NO MORE got a freekick which was hit by Blas Sevilla. Bernardo Taules succeeded in the game's 59th minute to get real power on a long shot . FAITH NO MORE's Nono Darroja hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! After 62 played minutes Canyet De Mar AD got a freekick which was hit by Asdrubal Pascua. Nazario Zaplana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nono Darroja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asdrubal Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
