Fulgencio Arenas made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Argenis santillana sent off a good shot on target. If Eneto Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, Caranga AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Viqueira to maneuver through the defense. When Eneto Mayor came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Valleseco CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eneto Mayor couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, Caranga AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Alonso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Eneto Mayor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valleseco CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eneto Mayor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Lara hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Eneto Mayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabier Santalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Lara in the 19th minute of play forced Valleseco CD's goalkeeper Fulgencio Arenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valleseco CD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Francesco Pardo scored to the left of an out of position Fulgencio Arenas, making the score, 1-0. Agustín Lara's late challenge caught a Valleseco CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Lara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caranga AD getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Agustín Lara hit a great ball. Cresconio Llinares struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Xabier Santalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valleseco CD. Eneto Mayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Caranga AD's Francesco Pardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fulgencio Arenas. Fulgencio Arenas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Fulgencio Arenas came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Caranga AD's Argenis santillana. But to his dismay, Argenis santillana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Caranga AD's zone, Cresconio Llinares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xabier Santalla came out of the goal and Cresconio Llinares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st play minute Argenis santillana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fulgencio Arenas. 4-0. In the 46th minute Eneto Mayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabier Santalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eneto Mayor was the one to do the kick off. Argenis santillana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Arenas having to interfere. Fulgencio Arenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argenis santillana in the 54th minute of play. When Aliecer Casillas fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caranga AD's protests and gave Aliecer Casillas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caranga AD getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aliecer Casillas hit a great ball. Xabier Santalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneto Mayor in the 65th minute of play. Xabier Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eneto Mayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Francesco Pardo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caranga AD's protests and gave Francesco Pardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Francesco Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xabier Santalla was a little too slow when Eneto Mayor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Valleseco CD's zone, Aliecer Casillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Arenas came out of the goal and Aliecer Casillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the game, Basilio Parra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valleseco CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caranga AD the free kick. Eneto Mayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Xabier Santalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Valleseco CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Parra to maneuver through the defense. Argenis santillana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
