Xabier Santalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Theodore's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Agustín Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Patricio Theodore got free in front of the goal in the 15th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Xabier Santalla was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Asteri Cuervas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabier Santalla having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francesco Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asteri Cuervas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Asteri Cuervas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Marraxon De Arriba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asteri Cuervas couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Marraxon De Arriba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Araoz Macho to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caranga AD's goalkeeper Xabier Santalla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Marraxon De Arriba's goalkeeper Luke Zaplana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Lara. The nice shot from Argenis santillana in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Luke Zaplana had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Pardo in the 76th minute of play forced Marraxon De Arriba's goalkeeper Luke Zaplana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Theodore in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xabier Santalla saved Caranga AD from getting behind. Caranga AD's Xabier Santalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivareo Galego in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caranga AD defense, Patricio Theodore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xabier Santalla. The Caranga AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xabier Santalla should have stopped the shot. Patricio Theodore struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Xabier Santalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marraxon De Arriba.
