Marco-Antonio Alcaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Diez in the 13th minute of play. Lesardo Diez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Natxo Buenafuente fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Getafe Wizards's protests and gave Natxo Buenafuente a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Ibanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abejundio Correa in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Abejundio Correa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abejundio Correa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abejundio Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natxo Buenafuente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco-Antonio Alcaraz having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Getafe Wizards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natxo Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. Error Blazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marco-Antonio Alcaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abejundio Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Diez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Getafe Wizards's goalkeeper Aurelio Ibanez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abejundio Correa. 56 minutes into the game, Abejundio Martínez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Getafe Wizards's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saron the free kick. After a rather tough play, Getafe Wizards's Abejundio Martínez got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Abejundio Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Saron's Lesardo Diez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Ibanez. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. If Abejundio Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abejundio Correa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Ibanez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Saron's Máximo Zapico couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Getafe Wizards. With a little luck, Getafe Wizards's Aurelio Ibanez got control of the ball when Abejundio Correa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lesardo Diez struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Aurelio Ibanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saron. In the 83rd match minute, Getafe Wizards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Error Blazquez to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 86 in the game by Abejundio Correa from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Ibanez managed to make a qualified save. Getafe Wizards's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Diez in the 89th minute of play forced Getafe Wizards's goalkeeper Aurelio Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lesardo Diez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Error Blazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Getafe Wizards's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saron the free kick. Getafe Wizards's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lesardo Diez 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The Saron supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saron would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
