The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco-Antonio Alcaraz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florinio Sierra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mirador de Montepinar FC's Horacio Guasch got a free kick in the 9th minute. Saturnin Nafría showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Diez, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Xantalen Quintanilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirador de Montepinar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xantalen Quintanilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco-Antonio Alcaraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Primitivo Etxeberria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chus Barrientos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnin Nafría. Mirador de Montepinar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Horacio Guasch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mirador de Montepinar FC booed when Saron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chus Barrientos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnin Nafría showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abejundio Correa in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Guasch made a kick off. Saturnin Nafría showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Diez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Horacio Guasch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Primitivo Etxeberria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco-Antonio Alcaraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Guasch's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Primitivo Etxeberria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Marco-Antonio Alcaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mirador de Montepinar FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Florinio Sierra hit a great ball. Primitivo Etxeberria scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco-Antonio Alcaraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rdth minute of the game Horacio Guasch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saron's Marco-Antonio Alcaraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saturnin Nafría made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abejundio Correa in the 75th minute. Primitivo Etxeberria might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco-Antonio Alcaraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Etxeberria ran back to his position shaking his head. When Abejundio Correa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Saron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abejundio Correa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mirador de Montepinar FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luis Amorebieta hit a great ball. Abejundio Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Guasch in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco-Antonio Alcaraz saved Saron from getting behind. With a little luck, Mirador de Montepinar FC's Saturnin Nafría got control of the ball when Abejundio Correa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenz Bernal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco-Antonio Alcaraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Guasch, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Primitivo Etxeberria managed to get in a good position for a shot.
