The supporters of Almuniente CD booed when Palleja C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abejundio Antunez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austin Roca, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Juan Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blasco Segura in the 11th minute of play forced Palleja C.F.'s goalkeeper Ariel Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Laurgain Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dei Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurgain Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. If Curro Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Leoncio Candela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Curro Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Palleja C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Blasco Segura came free, but Ariel Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curro Arratia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ariel Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Laurgain Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dei Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almuniente CD's Dei Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Almuniente CD from getting a goal against them. Juan Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dei Leal having to interfere. Blasco Segura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Austin Roca during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Austin Roca hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Almuniente CD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tipi Montes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Juan Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dei Leal. Almuniente CD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Blasco Segura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dei Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Almuniente CD's Curro Arratia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Casillas. Ariel Casillas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 73rd minute, Abejundio Antunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Juan Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Dei Leal. Almuniente CD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 81 minutes into the game, Abejundio Antunez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palleja C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almuniente CD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palleja C.F.'s Abejundio Antunez got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Laurgain Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palleja C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Laurgain Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dei Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Almuniente CD's zone, Juan Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dei Leal came out of the goal and Juan Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almuniente CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palleja C.F. the free kick. In the 91st minute, Reynaldo Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Palleja C.F. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
