After a rather tough play, Musel's Asdrubal Cabezas got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Asdrubal Cabezas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Ziguenza in the 22nd minute of play forced Castro Caldelas AFC's goalkeeper Mero Arraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castro Caldelas AFC's goalkeeper Mero Arraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Castro Caldelas AFC defense, Bernhard Tohter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mero Arraz. The Castro Caldelas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mero Arraz should have stopped the shot. The Musel fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Musel's Maule Villafane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paquito Olano made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Quintan Contratas sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnalt Muelas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mero Arraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernhard Tohter in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Quintan Contratas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Maule Villafane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Maule Villafane came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Musel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maule Villafane couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Musel's Güralp Yağızkurt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Güralp Yağızkurt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Musel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Güralp Yağızkurt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Musel getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Asdrubal Cabezas hit a great ball. Maule Villafane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mero Arraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maule Villafane took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mero Arraz. Mero Arraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Maule Villafanes short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Mero Arraz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maule Villafane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mero Arraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castro Caldelas AFC's Mero Arraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Castro Caldelas AFC from getting a goal against them. After 82 minutes, Maule Villafane made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Castro Caldelas AFC's Mero Arraz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paquito Olano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quintan Contratas went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Eliu Murcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paquito Olano. Musel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliu Murcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. The audience was convinced that Maule Villafane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mero Arraz was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Xicu Nafría kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
