In the 20th minute Michael Cambero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Olmedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Encina scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Casals, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sant Andreu Del Far's Victor Olmedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sant Andreu Del Far from getting a goal against them. Caitano Torrente might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Olmedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caitano Torrente ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Calvino Barral made the kick off in the second half. Caitano Torrente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. The Sant Andreu Del Far fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sant Andreu Del Far eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
