Sant Andreu Del Far's Calvino Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cidro Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calvino Barral hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Hermenegildo Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Barral in the 18th minute of the match. When Sabino Litago came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sant Andreu Del Far fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabino Litago couldn't finish the play. Cidro Zubizarreta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hermenegildo Baños came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Sant Andreu Del Far's Calvino Barral. But to his dismay, Calvino Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Sant Andreu Del Far's Mauro Encina got a free kick in the 31st minute. Calvino Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermenegildo Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Litago in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Verdaguer was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Sant Andreu Del Far got a freekick which was hit by Serafín Nobo. Zurgena's Hermenegildo Baños proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Zurgena from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Garoa Tobia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zurgena's Hermenegildo Baños didn't even have to move. Rico Sánchez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sabino Litago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Hermenegildo Baños when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Zurgena's Cidro Zubizarreta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
