The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eguzki Sauca struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Elvio Cerreri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guevara CF. Club ONCE SAD's Elvio Cerreri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esquipula Casero in the 22nd minute of play. Elvio Cerreri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eguzki Sauca in the 29th minute of play. Guevara CF's Eguzki Sauca got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Eguzki Sauca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Cerreri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Guevara CF's Abelardo Bencoiechea got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fabiano Di Placido didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club ONCE SAD's Maximiliano Torres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 42nd minute, Luis-Miguel Contratas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eguzki Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Chano Irureta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guevara CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! After having played for 67 minutes, Abelardo Bencoiechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guevara CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Bencoiechea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esquipula Casero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Elvio Cerreri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Ubaldo Marcilla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Esquipula Casero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th play minute Esquipula Casero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elvio Cerreri. 2-3. 80 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Torres notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Guevara CF's Fabiano Di Placido. Fabiano Di Placido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galsino Marrero couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Maximiliano Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club ONCE SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Di Placido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Galsino Marrero struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Fabiano Di Placido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club ONCE SAD.
