Carlos Vazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cecilio Barba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miranda AFC's Sancho Dagora got a free kick in the 4th minute. Javier Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaitan Saura having to interfere. Javier Gutierrez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Gaitan Saura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Miranda AFC's zone, Andrea Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Barba came out of the goal and Andrea Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Chepe Litago notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Miranda AFC's Cecilio Barba. Cecilio Barba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chepe Litago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Barba having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Gutierrez in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaitan Saura saved Jaizubia UD from getting behind. When Sancho Dagora fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda AFC's protests and gave Sancho Dagora a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the match, Jaizubia UD's goalkeeper Gaitan Saura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Gutierrez. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aita Llorca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miranda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aita Llorca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaitan Saura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrea Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Javier Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antero Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Javier Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitan Saura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Javier Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miranda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Javier Gutierrez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gaitan Saura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancho Dagora in the 66th minute of play forced Jaizubia UD's goalkeeper Gaitan Saura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Javier Gutierrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaizubia UD's Gaitan Saura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes, Jaizubia UD's José Valines shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cecilio Barba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaizubia UD reached it. 75 minutes into the match, Jaizubia UD's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Gutierrez came free, but Gaitan Saura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
