In the 7th minute Feliberto Nieto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jokin Cameno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Rallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villamardones SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alquezar the free kick. In the 13th minute, Clodoveo Rallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Feliberto Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Rutenio Valerón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alquezar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paco Losantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paco Morado hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Paco Losantos fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villamardones SD's protests and gave Paco Losantos a yellow card for diving instead. Paco Losantos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tipi Llinares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paco Losantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Rutenio Valerón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alquezar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rutenio Valerón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paco Losantos to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Alquezar's goal looked a bit too open when Tipi Llinares came free, but Laureano Vives reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jokin Cameno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Nieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tipi Llinares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villamardones SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Tipi Llinares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Vives breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Tipi Llinares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Vives saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paco Losantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villamardones SD's Jokin Cameno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Nieto in the 63rd minute of play. Jokin Cameno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Nieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Tipi Llinares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Vives. Alquezar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tipi Llinares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alquezar's Feliberto Nieto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jokin Cameno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutenio Valerón in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Paco Losantos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Laureano Vives was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Villamardones SD booed when Alquezar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Lama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villamardones SD's Jokin Cameno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Villamardones SD from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 90 in the game by Rutenio Valerón from a close distance when the talented Jokin Cameno managed to make a qualified save. Villamardones SD's players were relieved.
