Eguzki Gomar's late challenge caught a Vallecas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eguzki Gomar helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Venta De Los Santos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eguzki Gomar. In the 3rdth minute of the game Benjamin Vacas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venta De Los Santos AFC's Giraldo Ucero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galo Torres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Camacho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rosalio Baeza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vallecas's Alvaro Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosalio Baeza in the 15th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Vallecas's goalkeeper Alvaro Camacho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Galo Torres. In the 22nd minute, Vitin Naranjo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Galo Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Alatz Barroso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Venta De Los Santos AFC's Giraldo Ucero. Giraldo Ucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosalio Baeza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alvaro Camacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosalio Baeza was the one to do the kick off. Vallecas's Alvaro Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galo Torres in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Galo Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venta De Los Santos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galo Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosalio Baeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Camacho having to interfere. Venta De Los Santos AFC's Giraldo Ucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Vacas in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Vallecas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ceandro Paredes hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Venta De Los Santos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosalio Baeza. In the 71st minute of the match Cugat Sierra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Camacho skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute Benjamin Vacas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giraldo Ucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Fran Iglesias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallecas and the Venta De Los Santos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eguzki Gomar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 82 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Alvaro Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo Torres in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vallecas's Benjamin Vacas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giraldo Ucero. That made the score 0-2 after 93 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vallecas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
