Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xinto Cazorla made the kick off which started today's match. When Goyo Rosario came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ponferradina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goyo Rosario couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goyo Rosario in the 7th minute of play forced Tool FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Esperta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Xinto Cazorla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lalo Vives was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Goyo Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Elvio Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lalo Vives saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tool FC's Ernesto Esperta got control of the ball when Herminio Portillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Tool FC booed when Ponferradina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Ariando Domenech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the game, Herminio Portillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Esperta. Herminio Portillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Tool FC's Ernesto Esperta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Portillo in the 46th minute of play. Herminio Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Goyo Rosario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Esperta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Portillo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jorge Vadillos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ernesto Esperta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Goyo Rosario's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Ariando Domenech recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Portillo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Esperta. Ernesto Esperta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ernesto Esperta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Portillo in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariando Domenech in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Esperta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Goyo Rosario notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tool FC's Ernesto Esperta. Ernesto Esperta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lalo Vives showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Cazorla in the 76th minute of the match. Lalo Vives was a little too slow when Jorge Vadillos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 4-2. Ernesto Esperta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariando Domenech in the 81st minute of play. Tool FC's Ernesto Esperta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Portillo in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Goyo Rosario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Esperta was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Tool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Portillo came free, but Ernesto Esperta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Esperta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goyo Rosario in the 88th minute of the match. Herminio Portillo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Esperta. Ernesto Esperta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Ponferradina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
