Coromines's Aurelio Silvestre couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Chorricos FC. If Federico Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mel Darroja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Los Chorricos FC defense, Federico Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaitano Ortega. The Los Chorricos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaitano Ortega should have stopped the shot. Federico Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gaitano Ortega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coromines. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Federico Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaitano Ortega was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Mel Darroja took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaitano Ortega. Gaitano Ortega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mel Darroja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Chorricos FC's Gaitano Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mel Darroja in the 61st minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Los Chorricos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mel Darroja came free, but Gaitano Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Chorricos FC's goalkeeper Gaitano Ortega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaitano Ortega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There was no doubt that Coromines were the better team. Coromines's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
