After a rather tough play, Castellnou De Montsec SAD's Apoena Sirvent got a free kick in the 8th minute. Hermelando Hevia made a great header on Mollet Del Vallès AFC's corner, it was just that Castellnou De Montsec SAD's Geofredo Duran managed to reach the ball for a save. If Nuno Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Apoena Sirvent was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 16 minutes had been played. After 17 played minutes Castellnou De Montsec SAD got a freekick which was hit by Apoena Sirvent. A collision led to Castellnou De Montsec SAD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carlos Checa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nemesio Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mollet Del Vallès AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Cabezas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geofredo Duran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Castellnou De Montsec SAD got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Checa. In the 31st minute, Michel Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quentin Cayuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Rey made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Constancio Domenech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mollet Del Vallès AFC's Hermelando Hevia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Castellnou De Montsec SAD. Nemesio Cabezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Duran having to interfere. When Michel Romero came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mollet Del Vallès AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Romero couldn't finish the play. Castellnou De Montsec SAD's Geofredo Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Romero in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Castellnou De Montsec SAD getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Goi Ribeiro hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Mollet Del Vallès AFC's Hermelando Hevia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Romero in the 72nd minute of play forced Castellnou De Montsec SAD's goalkeeper Geofredo Duran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Bonifacio Castellano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mollet Del Vallès AFC and the Castellnou De Montsec SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Castellnou De Montsec SAD defense, Nemesio Cabezas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geofredo Duran. The Castellnou De Montsec SAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geofredo Duran should have stopped the shot. When Carlos Checa came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Castellnou De Montsec SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Checa couldn't finish the play. Quentin Cayuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Rey in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Castellnou De Montsec SAD were awarded a corner. Constancio Domenech went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Castellnou De Montsec SAD's corner Constancio Domenech fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Quentin Cayuela quite easily take care of the ball.
